How to Grow:

These cool season loving plants will be ready to pick-up at our farm in Campbellford:

Early April for option 1: 20 plugs

Early May for option 2: 2 pack potted ready to bloom.

Details on Options:

Option 1: Bulk plugs, comes in 2" by 2" plugs on a tray. Plant right away, but be prepared if we get a frost to cover overnight. They are about 1 month from blooming at this stage.

Option 2: Comes in 2 pots about 4" by 4". Ready to plant into your garden or planters. They will be nearly ready to bloom at this stage, if not, already blooming.

Colours:

They are mixed ranunculus in pastel tones including: creamy yellow, blush pink, bubble gum pink, white, white w/ purple/pink stripes, hot pink. We did not label these corms, so it is a surprise which variations you will receive.

Planting & Covering:

Plant right away as ranunculus love cool weather! If we happen to receive a night colder than 4C after you plant, I would suggest covering them with a bowl or row cover over night to prevent stunting from cold weather. Plants have survived 0 on our farm, but they will be a bit stunted. Plant in a shaded garden spot so plants can benefit from spring temperatures.

Spacing:

4 rows, 6" in a production bed 30" wide.

Interplant with other flowers that can provide summer shade.
