Ready to plant our favourite flower on the farm?!

These cool season loving plants will be ready to pick-up at our farm in Campbellford in early April.

Details & Colours:

The 20 plugs will be about 2" by 2" plugs ready to transplant provided on a tray. 

They are mixed ranunculus in pastel tones including: creamy yellow, blush pink, bubble gum pink, white, white w/ purple/pink stripes. We did not label these corms, so it is a surprise which variations you will receive, but you will likely have an assortment of the listed colours with ordering 20 plugs. 

Planting & Covering:

We recommend having covering options for cold nights, ranunculus love temperatures between 4-20 degrees celcius. If temperatures go below 4 degrees, we recommend covering with: row cover, poly tunnel, or basic drinking water cups/ bowls. Anything that will keep in their daytime heat. Plants have survived 0 on our farm, but they will be a bit stunted. If you plant out too late, you may get stunted plants from the heat/ less abundant blooming. For these reasons we recommend planting by mid-April with a covering plan in mind. Alternatively, you can plant later in a shaded spot. Interplanting is a really great option in this case.
